अति ही हो गई आज तब, और कोप-दामिनी से रात जगी.. जब राजवाटिका की एक कली की अस्मिता पे गहरी घात लगी। "हाय शापित ये नरपुत्र सभी अब भय सारा खो चुके हैं क्या ?" तरकश में ढूंढते क्या बाण कानून के अब तक निशान से जो चूंके सदा?! घाटी की कलियों के अस्तित्व से जब जब भी बलात्कार हुआ, इन अट्टालिकाओं के आकाओं हित मानो कोई मामूली खिलवाड़ हुआ। "गलती रही होगी निर्भया की, बेहया रात निकली घर से। लड़के तो गलती करते हैं, क्या फांसी दे दोगे डर से?" और आज उन्ही बालाओं के कंकालों से बना ये सीढ़ी चढ़ते हैं, ये शह है हर उस "भूल" माफ की, भरी सड़क पे ना ये डरते हैं। जब आम आदमी की इज़्ज़त, सस्ती इनको अब लगने लगी, तो 'किक' लेने को और अधिक, नज़र चोटी पर पड़ने लगी। आज दुःशासन का कर-अपवित्र जब राजपुत्री तक आया है, तब देश की नारी की इज़्ज़त का ख्याल हमें भी आया है। पहले ही जंगल या महलों की कली को सम समझा होता, तो आज ना यूँ दुस्साहसी होता, कोई "बड़े घर" का पुत्र-पोता।
